About
I am an American fine artist and professional intuitive/medium. I’ve been both for decades.
The artwork is an offering of inspiration toward a world beyond the seen. Images are inspired by an emphasis on life’s persistent vitality, and inclination toward well-being.
And as a painter, I believe in color.
I want you to register the intense energy of what you see, before your mind tries to interpret it based on trained mental responses. I am looking to surprise you.
This particular show, Grief Transformed, is about grieving the “loss” of my mother, Flo-Harriet, in 2016, (though as an intuitive, the communication continues). In my mother’s last years I moved nearby and cared for her. We became very close for the first time. When she died, what began as unsettling pain, slowly became more complex. In the end her death had far-reaching repercussions, many of which are deeply positive.
Three paintings…’ Never Mind That, but Where?, When?, and How?‘ were painted while my mother was alive. The rest are a kind of litmus test of my deepest self through the process of grief and ongoing discovery. Through the generative process, I found my way fully back into life. The final images are a re-affirmation of life in the body.
There is always more than what lies on the surface
